I have a customer asking for zinc plating that is ROHS compliant and requires high corrosion resistance. Is that possible?

Yes! BFG has satisfied several customers' requests to pass high salt spray requirements while maintaining ROHS compliance. The latest demand has been to pass 168 hours to white corrosion and 360 hours to red rust. BFG has worked closely with our customers to engineer a process specific to their needs and meet these stringent requirements.

BFG has trivalent chromates that meet these new demands for product performance. We offer clear, yellow and black ROHS trivalent chromates. Along with the chromates we have a variety of sealers to use to increase performance they are applied in seperate steps as a package to provide this environmentally safe and high performance solution to ROHS requirements.

These systems are much more demanding of the platers chemical control. BFG has added the capabilites needed to maintain the tight tolerances needed for reliable performance.
