Plating Processes:

 Zinc: Zinc electroplating(electrogalvanizing) is the most common plating used by industry today and BFG has been a major supplier of zinc finishes for over 60 years.  The coating provides corrosion protection to iron and steel products, that improves life and appearance at low relative cost.  BFG has production facilities to cover  most applications and industry standards.  BFG provides a full range of ROHS compliant finishes in lines built specifically for these finishes.  Our finishes will meet the very difficult corrosion standards you may be experiencing trouble finding. 

Zinc Nickel: Zinc Nickel alloy plating provides a significant upgrade in corrosion protection to zinc plating.  It is capable of protection to much longer life and particularly in high temperature application.  It is ROHS compliant, has broad application in vehicles, and growing use in industrial applications. 

Tin: Tin plating is used in many electrical products providing a solderable corrosion resistant surface.  It is also widely used in food service products.

Chromates: A wide range of chromates are available at BFG with most interest being in our ROHS compliant hexavalent chome free chromates.  BFG maintains complete facilities to meet the specifications for chromates in the full range found in industry today. 

Phosphates:  Often referred to as a plating process phosphate coatings are a chemcial reaction building phosphate crystals with unique properties.  BFG provides a full range of zinc phosphate, manganese phosphate and iron phosphate coatings.  Our coatings are compliant and approved by military and industrial users.
